This replacement dwelling is located in St. Austell Bay on the South Coast of Cornwall. The proposed 2 storey, 3 bedroom house enjoys stunning views to the coast.

 

The upper floor commands its presence as a heavy mass clad in dark grey zinc, resting upon a light, natural Cornish stone plinth. At the rear of the proposal resides a multi-use work space, separated from the main dwelling by a reflection pond and courtyard.
